Shipping a luger barrel to Greece??

I am selling a couple of luger barrels in the "For Sale" section and had an inquiry from a guy in Greece for one of the barrels. Are there restictions from me mailing (USPS) a barrel to him? I looked on the web and the more I looked, the more confused I got.

Thanks
Mark

Hi,

EU countries generally speaking need an import permit for essential gun parts. This person from Greece should apply for one in his own country, mail you the permit, which you can add tot the package.

Let's be careful. You may also need a permit here to export gun parts out of the country.

I want to ship a non-military .22 pistol barrel to here, from Israel. Anyone know how to work in this direction?

According to International Mail Manual. Greece prohibits Firearms & Weapons. Pre-approved permission is required from the Greek Gov't. When they generalize "Firearms & Weapons" it's usually a dicey situation to ship.

Shipping the .22 barrel to the U.S. from Israel shouldn't be a problem. Only certain Class 3 parts are prohibited or restricted, as well as SN'd receivers.

Ron
