fgr Guest Posts: n/a	Re: What is "this august list" please? Tom, It seems the M/A in the "proof mark" are more ornate than the standard navy proofing that I have seen. With the exception of the Crown/M marks on the 06's and the like, most navy markings are block letter stamps of simple design. Why would mauser, or anyone else, depart from that practice? FGR
