Gerben, may be the different training purposes are because they are used in different units, like Luftwaffe, Marine, Heer??
By the way, the guys handnote "Flieger" may not be because he was a pilot - "Flieger" is the lowest starting rank in the "Luftwaffe" I dont belive that was different in that early days. |
