Fritzer,
I am glad to here there are some more Luger enthusiasts in this part of Michigan. There are two near Imlay City and a couple on the East side of Detroit. There is a guy in Flint too, but I don't know if he is a collector or a small time dealer.

The best gun show for Lugers is the Novi show. I may miss the next one because there is an auction in Illinois at the same time that I MAY attend. (The jury is still out on it.) The Novi show will frequently have a lot of Lugers there. It seems to go in cycles. A good friend of mine ususally has 4-5 Lugers and I sometimes consign a few more to him. Another guy there usually has 4-5 Lugers on his table.

I have been to the Birch Run Show and it seems quite small and has never had any Lugers there. I generally avoid the Doug Carl shows. They have too many brass knuckles, lamp shades and army surplus items. His gun show at the Silver Dome only had one guy selling collectors guns and he didn't have any Lugers.

I have a friend at the Grand Rapids show who I might do some business with soon. He has a table near the front door with some great Lugers on display. But I think that he is there to buy fine Lugers when they walk in the door and not to sell anything. Viewing his table is worth the trip. He says that he seldom sees a Luger at the show that will make him wee-wee in his pants. I have plans to take a couple Lugers there and I hope that he will be wearing his rubber underwear.

Your recommendation about Williams Gunsight sound good. I'll check it out as soon as I finish doing my income taxes. (I am almost finished...thank God!). I will check out the web site IMMEDIATELY. I also heard that a gun store in Clio has some Lugers.

Drop me an email and maybe we can get together. Maybe I can help you get you started blowing a ton of money on Lugers. (Thats not really a joke)
