I do not claim to be an expert on shooting underwater, but as a youngster, we would sometimes immerse the barrel of our 22 rifles and shoot suckers (carp) that ran the river in the spring. I think the only effects would be the rapid absaorption of velocity by the water. We would then sell the carp to the fellow who owned the chinese restaurant in town. Those were the days!! Maybe higher caliber guns would have adverse effects espescially if you and the gun were underwater due to the concussion waves in the water? Supposedly dynamite will kill a fish. Who gave me this idea anyways???? [img]rolleyes.gif[/img]
