You may have to spend $150-$225 for a genuine early pattern Navy cleaning rod with a grease reservoir - watch out for the fakes! If the brass rod appears to 'clean', I suggest that you keep on walking. The 'honorable Tom A' can give you the exact details to distinguish between an original and a fake. Albert |
