Doubs User Join Date: Jun 2002 Location: Byron, Georgia Posts: 1,750 Thanks: 838 Thanked 1,816 Times in 598 Posts	Stu, the commercial style of serial numbering places the locking bolt and side plate numbers on the underside of the parts. They are still visable while the gun is assembled and can be seen if you turn the pistol upside down as though viewing from underneath.
