I've been thinking of writing a history too.
This guy had this idea after seeing another pistol, he improved upon it, then DWM (which stands for some german words), made the improved pistol, which they had been making before, and also some Lowe company, (which isn't to say they had low standards) and they made some different variations and now they make some guns out of shiny metal called stainless.
