I think people get stupid at auctions.
You see on TV where they say auctions are where you get good prices, but when I have gone and there are a "few" guns, the gun prices go for way to much. Last fall, I went to one where there was a Plainfield M1 Carbine. This is the one made during the 60's and 70's, very little collector value and it went for like $450. They also had a 1911, nice gun, except the slide was a Remington Rand, and it still went for $950 and the guy acted like he got a good deal! Hello Carl! Any more stories to share with me? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> Nothing exciting happening with me, wife is dragging me off to see Aspen in a few minutes... Ed
