Dwight,
Be careful--the '40s 9mm Largo amo is probably corrosive. The '39 .45ACP and '40s 30-06 ammo was corrosive. Clean your gun carefully and then clean again after several days with the proper solvent or water followed by oil. Check this or other forums for cleaning technique after firing corrosive ammo.
