I will repeat what that I have seen Krieghoff Lugers with the MAG BUTTON fire blued. We had this discussion a while back on the other forum. This is an early S date Krieg that Hugh "used" to own!! (I think he wishs he had this on back) I also have a pic of a 1943 that has the same fire blued mag button! Thor
 and one from Simpsons .......BUT.......most of the pics in Kenyon's "Lugers at Random" indicate strawed buttons?
