With the non original parts, X on the front of the frame, and possible re-blued finish I would think Russian capture or East German redo. No import marks is a plus.
Looks like the the bottom of the grips have been filed down to fit the frame.
The trigger is not original.
The magazine has been renumbered to match.
Sideplate parts not original. The number 57 is actually correct, first two numbers of the serial number plus 1. But the 57 should be in the center of the back of the sideplate.
Should make a good shooter.
