I would particularly like to see the sideplate removed, and good clear photos of both front and back (inside and outside).
The Toggle knob may not be cracked, it is hard to tell from the photos so far, I hope it is not. This is a very unusual specimen. Here in this photo enlargement is why I suspect the cracked toggle knob. I would strongly suggest that you get in touch with our member G.T. (Gerry Tomek) at gctomeks@msn.com . He lives in Chandler, AZ not far from you, and can give you an expert craftsman and gunsmith's evaluation of the condition of not only the toggle, but the entire gun.

You might also want to check the toggle lock under the right toggle knob. It's not pointed out as often as it should, but the dished toggle Lugers need the toggle pulled straight back about 3/16" before lifting.
Most ham-handed gun dealers and their uninformed customers just yank up on the toggles. ![]() I was lucky. My lock wasn't broke.
