early thirties I feel with that 'dove' stamp. Just before the nazi's took power I would say.
The #2 would tell me that it was issued to a gun, but it sure doesn't look like it was ground or even re-shaped. Lets say it is a replacement magazine - not being numbered I find very odd, but its a nice magazine! How'd you pick it up?
