Sigp, One reason the sale of "riding boots" is limited, most of us can't afford a valet to help get them on & off. TH

Another reason is that you can't just simply walk in any shoe store and find those boots - but women can. They will find at least 15 different models of similar high boots that draw direct lineage to those depicted in upper pic. But us, no F way, where do you find leather knee high hunting boots with rugged rubber sole in north America unless it is a special order?

The boots in the picture are riding boots, not walk around boots. Even though, if they are good and fit you properly, you can walk around all day long in them.
