You have a number mag with a Nazi mark, but 'patent' in English? Odd?

You're right...It didn't dawn on me that "patent" is in english...I saw online that the proof mark is for contract proof for police or postal...
I'm wondering what time period

I am pretty sure the German spelling for patent is same as English.
