If they are both all matching, go for the one that has the best / sharpest appearance. The S/42 has a cracked left grip.
They are at best $700-$850 guns since the VoPo could have been acquired a year or two ago for $600. I'd rather have a Mauser made shooter properly fit mismatched gun that hasn't been reblued and heavily buffed. The 41 byf has that overbuffed look which I don't like at all. The plum color would not be as much of an issue. If it doesn't come with a correct period magazine (a FXO) I wouldn't bother with it at that price. Marc
