Yes kurusu, that is correct.

Here is a photo. As you can see, we're talking about a VERY SMALL amount of material here.

Here in Portugal I know of at least one successful repair of this same problem, it was done some 20 years ago and the gun is still functional. Sadly the man who made the repair is no longer with us.

Some time back on this forum, there was a discussion on this very matter. You may want to do a search. Also folks that do a lot of excellent work on Lugers like Ollie and GT...and others, may well be able to point you in the correct direction. Good luck!!
