I don't post anything that I wouldn't want my boss to see, nor my mother (who is on FB), and I use my po box for selling stuff, and the city as my home (yes, I am outed by my wife many times by her using the city) but you can only be so secure, then you are being paranoid.

I simply live with the fear and deal with it ensure I have privacy settings, etc.

Although they use personal info, its all out there anyway - you just have to limit what you put out there?
