P-08 feeding issues

If you can, go to the range and aggressively cup the butt with your off-hand, effectively pressing up on the mag. bottom to raise the mag. to its upper limits. In that scenerio does the gun feed better?
We need to identify the brand of the aftermarket mag. too. You may end up buying a Mec-Gar, but first let's determine if the mag. catch is worn.
Extraction/ejection is probably a whole 'nuther matter.

The acceptable slack in a Luger magazine for proper function should be around 1/10 of an inch. Not much less and not much more.

Thanks everyone. I order a wolffe magazine spring and also order a mec gar mag as well. I did cup the base of the Mag and pressed it up when shooting. The original mag seemed to work alittle better but the aftermarkets ( no markings on the ) still crapped out. If it is a worn Magazine catch what should I be looking for and is it a pain to change out Thanks Steve
