Thank you for the info. I am always glad to hear about a new(to me at least) combo that will help to get these Lugers running reliably.

Yea, its interesting. Lotsa folks seem to have problems with tri-kay mags, but it looks like G.T. may have found the magic recipe. At least with these, in my gun, with my ammo, at my range, wearing my skirt.

Another range session. This time the older Mec-Gar was flawless (loaded twice), the three tri-kays with FXO springs continued to be flawless (each loaded once), and the old Erfurt (also loaded twice) again failed to feed the last round (both times). It *was* a different brand of ammo this time (Freedom Munitions reloads this time vs. WWB last time).

Whatever this data means...
