Exactly. My 1937 has original grips marked with the gun.

My 1936 does not have original grips. It was reblued. I don't care. All parts match. As all parts on the 1937. The 1937 was NOT reblued.

Both function with Federal 115gr HOLLOW POINTS. They both WORK with regular ammunition. They both shoot high at 25 yards. They are both accurate without windage complication. They both shoot straight.

My 1937 is serial number 4068 with suffix "b". My 1936 is serial number 1288 WITHOUT suffix.

So far no one seems to know about my 1936 on this forum except to say the holster is a cheap repro. I don't give a d about the holster added. I don't care about holsters. I bought it for all matching parts. And it shoots just fine. Safe queens are not my buy in P-08s. I like firing them and shooting them. The rest can be left to an expense never to be relied upon to shoot. The rest are subject to breaking apart and being less valuable to the owners. I shoot all of my guns and I will enjoy shooting instead of collecting relics too expensive to test fire with a couple of 50 round boxes of ammunition made today.

Some "a" whole said I was acting like a 15 year old in my posts. I am a collector only of weapons I can rely upon with factory ammunition. I will not send any gun into a safe that I own. I am practical. I like WORKING guns. If guns do not work they are garbage to me.
