Here in KA I believe Gun Shows will go the way of the dinosaur on Jan.1,2003. Lots of new restrictions for legal buyers of handguns. A 5 year HSC certificate will need to be presented 1st. before any transaction can begin. It will be administered by qualified instructors of the states choosing. Approximate cost $25+. Being ex-military no longer an exempt status unless retired from. And of course the 10 day wait and limit of 1 handgun purchase in any 30 day time frame. All these laws are toted as being in the interest of public safety.I hope and pray that it were so. Giving up freedoms for a false sense of security is a bad trade off. I'll adhere to the laws of the land. But, I don't think it will effect the criminal element one iota.IMO
