It is truly a shame that the total of a stripped down pistol actually brings more money than a fully matched rig. If you figure what you can get for the two magazines, holster, grips, barrel, toggle, etc. it would have to be a minty rare variation to bring more 'all in one piece'. So, I guess if you have the time and energy and have a 'shooter' grade Luger you can upgrade it by auctioning off the parts and buying a mint all matching one with the proceeds. Somehow I don't think that the frames are a problem to market (legally or otherwise).
