Lot 1465 B is also mislabeled. It's not a Mauser. It's a Taku Naval Dockyard. Interesting piece,,,,, I bet this lot will go relatively high.

I'm looking at 3175...It's not the best looking Butterfield percussion revolver, but the estimate is reasonable...It'll be interesting to see how much over the high estimate it sells for...

Edit: OK, I'm all in on three lots!!! I don't expect to win any of them, but if by some chance I do win all three, I'll have to max out two credit cards plus my savings account!!!

No guts, no glory...

I looked at this pistol...I know very little about these, so I defer to your expertise...What identifies this as a Taku pistol???

Got this schedule from RIAC today -

Our auction begins Friday and starts each morning at 9:00 a.m. CST...The auction schedule is as follows:

Friday, June 28th: Lots 1 -893
Saturday, June 29th: Lots 1000-1983
Sunday, June 30th: Lots 3000-3833

I don't have to work this year, so I'd like to monitor the auction - What site has real-time coverage of the RIAC auctions??? I think Alvin posted a site last year...Or two years ago...

Edit: I bookmarked iCollector & ProxiBid sites; ArtFact doesn't list it...I'll figure it out...
