My Friend believes he owns the Gurtys patent pistol, (he is not a Luger guy, but a major firearms importer). I handled this gun some years ago but do not recollect the mechanism used, (I do remember that it had an external F/A sear bar). He also told me he once had another one-off F/A Luger, where the selector was a plunger you pushed in and then twisted to effect the change in firing mode. He sold this one years ago but still owns the Gurtys gun.

I just emailed him and asked to see if he has photos to share.
