I have always been amazed at the things that raccoons can get themselves into. When I was a young boy, my brothers and I had two little raccoons(the mother had been killed). We kept them in a cage in our basement, but did take them out so we could play with them......well someone forgot to close the cage door tightly. They came up the stairs and into the kitchen. They really enjoyed exploring my mothers cannisters of flour, sugar, coffee, etc. My mother failed to see the humor in it all, and we took them to the farm and released them.
