I'm betting that somewhere out there there is an old engraver who could tell you more about the style a detail of the engraving, maybe, and I do mean maybe, who did it. It could be signed by the artist somehow, somewhere on the gun. Examine it closely with a glass.
And I wonder why they modified the rear sight? Then jacked the front sight clear over.
An enigma inside of a riddle...

You don't think the TK (or KT) on the chamber is the engraver???

I can see it's a "U" instead of a "V", but what else is there modified???
