Barry, Norm is absolutely correct. You would have to post photos of this "1909" dated DWM. Most likely it's dated 1910 or later or someone faked the date.

Yes it does give the bore measurements on the bottom of the barrel.
The gun looks extremely clean and everything looks good and sharp, edges, stampings, etc. It is unusual to say the least, it is going up for auction today, I'll watch it and let you know how it goes, if possible I'll get photos of it. Thanks to all, barr |
