Your background makes it hard to judge.
A 1916 DWM is not rare, that said the price is reasonable, However, ensure that the interior parts, firing pin, hold-open, grips, etc should have the last two of the serial number to be truly matching. The magazine appears to be a modern replacement. Welcome to the forum! Ed
