John,
I did as you suggested and posted on the PPK forum. While I was there, I pulled up a thread that gives production dates. It is stated that PPK serail number 8290XX thru 9327XX were bullt in 1935. Serial number of this PPK is 861025. I likewise thought about using it for a carry weapon. The hammer price was $800.00 Mike |
