Thanks! I have paired the second mag with my Unit marked, undated, 1st Issue 1908 that I received with a later mag, but wanted to be sure. On the first one (595+), the photos don't show it, but the body is in a mint condition that matches the base, except for the rub/blemish on the follower side. The whole thing looks too good to be true to me. I am curious if the whole thing is not a police or aftermarket replacement. Other comments, anyone? Clark

Hi Clark, The reason I am of the opinion that your first mag. has a replaced base, is because it looks just like one I have. As you can see from the photos, both mags. have DWM tubes, but had their bases replaced during the mid '30s (E/154 is the Mauser mark used in 1934/5). Regards, Norm
