Veery Nice! I can't quite make out the letter from your picture. Old eyes. Check on this forum, under Technical Info for markings. There you'll find all the variations of the letters. Checking the book, 1937 S/42 had letters 4500p-400b with E/63 stick. 126,000 made.

Nice going!! Congratulations!! The suffix is a "Z". S/N 4764z was completed about October 1937. Your Waffenamt Marks (SE/63 & DE/63) indicate it was a transition in inspectors.

SE = Stick or Straight Wing Eagle
DE = Droop Wing Eagle

Does anyone know if my magazine is correct for pistol?

It is a Haenel fxo SE37 - marked p 1419 with gray (alum?) bottom

I'm under the impression that the Haenel magazines were introduced at a later time.

Most, if not all, Mauser Military Magazines were made by Haenel. Your center pin bottom was introduced as a 122 magazine in the 1940 Lugers. The fxo magazines didn't show up until the 1941 production.

The proper magazine for your Z-Block 1937 is side pinned, with a Waffenamt Stamp SE/63 AND a "Z" suffix.
