Newbie questions

Seems like not much data to base an estimate on.
Search Gunbroker and GunsAmerica for Navys for ideas of what they are asking and what they are bringing. I doubt that many are selling these days. Look for numbers matching, overall and bore condition. Seems like MissMatched roaches were bringing $1500+ while nice ones were asking closer to $5K. Also check Simpson Ltd, then take off 25% for an idea.
But these are sort of a specialty, and priced accordingly. I avoid them just because I'd have to pay real money and there are too many forged ones that could bite you. In short start educating yourself.
Do you know/trust the seller? Can you get a 3 day return priv? If so shoot us a bunch of pictures so someone more knowledgable than myself can weigh in.
