I have had this holster in my hands and I can assure you It is period made and right as rain in May in all respects. It is a very valuble and rare specimine that will be rarely if ever encountered on the for sale market.
It will someday be in a book on rare Luger holsters as it's centerpiece. In terms of rarity it is much more rare than a Luftwaffe or an imperial Navy. I can say with some authority there is probably not more than a handfull in existance.... if that many.
The craftsmanship in this piece is surpurlative, as is the detail. The condition is better than excellent.
Some lucky fellow with more spare change than I will have a crown jewell in his collection...
If I had either brains or money I would own it...

Well, I would expect it to be in a police book in the next year at least....
