Please go to the Technical Information section on the left side menu and go to Markings, and there you will find proof marks covering most of the Lugers.

Your Luger will have some of these marks, check them out and they will tell you some of what you need to know. After that you can repost here and report what proofs your luger has and we may be able to provide more info.

Also in Tech. Info. section are some indentification sheets. Download these, and they will help you know what info is needed to determine both the history and the value of your Luger.
