Hey Clint, it is a 5 digit commercial. Seriously.

If you look in the commericial section you will see a sticky for Dwights efforts at gathering commericial serial numbers, etc. I own 44693 and if I remember right, that puts it at 1909...

They used the commericial numbers then transitioned to the military style the Weimar era lugers, called Alphabet lugers by Jan Still, (If anyone wants a Weimar Luger book, I'd buy it while Jan Still has then available)...
