How to waste a Sunday 101

Ron,
I recently bought a Remington 1100, a Ruger .357 SS police revolver w/2" barrel and a 1937 S-42 from a lady whose husband recently died. She wouldn't part with the Luger unless I also bought the other two guns. I was, and am, wondering how slugs would do in my Remington? We can't use rifles in the Southern half of the lower part of Michigan for deer hunting. But shooting accurately with slugs at 200 yards would do just fine in farm country, although I would hate to put a scope on that beautiful and near new shotgun.
