Hi Bill! Glad you made the jump! The mandrel that is used for inside work is the same as is used in an armorer's kit! A similer inside mandrel would be used along with dies ,top & bottom, or, side to side, to press the sheetmetal into it's final shape, I have never seen a set before, but I understand the principle used to form the tube....It is all speculation by me though....no proof.... <img src="graemlins/jumper.gif" border="0" alt="[jumper]" /> till...later...G.T.
