Here is a picture of what I have been told is a reproduction TM-08 loading tool. I have seen many still pictures of this device in the past but have never seen an illustration of just how it works. I know that the lever is used to exert pressure on the cartridge to be loaded, but does anyone have a series of illustrations (like that would be found in a military manual?) that actually shows how this device loads the drum?<br />

That is the checkered button for? What keeps it attached to the drum as you exert pressure on the top cartridge?<br />
