Well, although my S&W VCI paper seems to be doing well, I just pulled out a pistol that was wrapped in it for a few years and noticed that it seemed the paper was deteriorating a little, it had started to turn white. oh ohhhhh.
So i goggles that and had a response that VCI paper is compromised by the acids and vapors of the holster. It recommended VCI poly bags, so I bought some on ebay, two sized 6x8 and 9x12. Zippered and is supposed to provide protection for 5 years. That's great if they work. Let you know in 5 years, stay tuned. haha
