Hi Hans... I make mounts with wooden mag bases incorporated into an aluminum stand... expensive, but looks original when displayed...also strong... George Fortier has some, Ron Wood also... and I'm currently making one for George Anderson....Maybe Ron or George would shoot ya a pic or two...best to you, til...lat'r...GT
