Smith Wesson K38 Grips
 

Hi,
Can someone on forum help me ID manufacturer of the grips removed from a S&W K38.

Are there any markings on the inside of the grips? Hard to nail down as they must be custom grips.

There weren't any obvious markings I will take another look. The attachment screw was thru the base and a metal piece was attached to the pistol frame to accept the attaching screw. I think the wood is rosewood but that's only a guess.

Hi,
I examined them They are machined from a single piece of wood.The entire assembly is one piece. the screw holding them to the frame is in bottom of the grip. there is a metal piece attached to the frame with the the screw hole in it.They are very well made, unfortunately I don't know more. Thanks
