Default Help with ID of 1937 dated holster

Hi All,

Just picked up this holster today with an S date Krieghoff in it.

Dyed black over brown, maker mark on the back is hard to make out, but date is clear.

Looks like maybe?

TR&K VOEGELS
KOLN-DEUTZ
1937

The first four letters are really iffy. but the VOEGELS is pretty clear, as is the DEUTZ stampings.

Is this close to a known maker?

Thanks for your help,
Fritz.

Fritz, Your holster was manufactured by Franz & Karl Voegels., Lederwarenfabrik. Koln-Deutz, Wollkuche. Their Inspectors numbers were 195, 234, 387 and 727. Looks like a good holster. Great buy on your Krieghoff. Have looked for one like it for many years. Bill

Thank you for the makers info Bill.
Pete has advised me to examine the inside back for any inspection marks, but I will have to take a closer look at that.

Best Regards,
Fritz.
