If I remember correctly, the Haenel - Schmeisser facility that made the "fxo" marked E/37 accepted magazines (the milled welded steel ones) was the same facility taken over by the socialized Ernst Thalmann organization in East Germany after WW-II in Suhl.

The Thalmann mark was 2/1001
